Oklahoma State head basketball coach Mike Boynton has announced the hiring of Scott Sutton, the winningest coach in Oral Roberts history and a former Cowboy, as an assistant on his staff.

Former Oklahoma State and Oral Roberts coach Sean Sutton has joined the staff at Texas Tech, the university announced Wednesday.

Legendary OSU basketball coach, Eddie Sutton, was left off the list of inductees yet again when the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame class was announced on Monday. 

It turns out Doug Gottlieb wasn’t the only former Cowboy interested in the OSU coaching vacancy. In a segment on OKC sports radio’s The Franchise, Desmond Mason revealed that he applied for the job.
